Easy Run Tuesday?

Run: 4.5
Time: 49:47 (10:56 pace)
March Totals

Running Miles: 15.6

Biking Miles: 0

Got out a little earlier around 7:45 tonight. The plan was to run 4 miles but I got in an extra half mile. I was going to just take it easy and run at a nice 12 minute mile pace but at around 2.5 miles in I decided to push a little bit and picked up the pace.

The first mile I was real tight but true to my form I loosened up about 1.2 miles in. The remaining miles went by real fast and the next thing I new I was coming to the end. My 3 and 4 mile runs just go by so fast now after experiencing my first 10 and 11 mile runs. I have to hold myself back sometimes from running further because of that.

Tomorrow I plan on getting an easy bike ride and a strength training session in. Hope everyone has a great Wednesday morning! - Jason The Running Man

Great job, Jason!!

Hope you don't mind me asking, but how come you run so late in the evening? Do you go after work? I'm guessing it's dark when you go, right? I tried running in the dark when I first started and hated it. Good thing for daylight savings time starting this weekend, I guess. :)

Thanks for answering my question, Jason. I completely understand wanting to spend time with your little girl! I am lucky in the fact that most days I can take my kids with me when I run. Of course, I'm with the little hooligans all day anyway, LOL!

Way to go on being a runner and awesome family man!!

I need to go to a gym that is open later. Great job with your mileage and speed. My blog is slacking, but I am having some computer issues. I hope to be back to weekly work out up-dates.

Jason, sorry if this post ends up appearing twice, blogger crashed on me when I went to submit it... I think what I said the first time was great job on the run, and you are smart for knowing when to speed up, slow down, and not overdo it. I also wanted to thank you again for linking to our Blog Database on the main Faithful Soles web site. We now have running bloggers from 37 states in the USA and 20 other countries.

I give you credit, Jason. There is no way I could do very many workouts late in the evening. I'm forced to sometimes when I can't get to the gym at lunchtime from work. But I don't think I could do it every night. Just no energy left by then.

Great job!
