Just happy to be able to complete this small step in my long journey. I've been just taking it easy since Saturday's race. I have yet to run and will probably not run until Friday or Saturday.
I've also been thinking quite a bit about my training and the things I need to improve on. The one thing that kept coming up was strength. Not just core strength but overall strength. I am going to really spend time hitting the weights over the next 6 months to get my body fat % down to a more acceptable level. Instead of 2 days a week I am going to push strength training to 3 and 4 days a week. I am still working on a strength plan but will have it nailed down before May first. I will be working very hard over the next 6 months to prepare for November 10th.
Thanks for all the kind words! I will update my total plan both nutrition and workouts for May this weekend. Have a great Wednesday! - Jason The Running Man

Nothing wrong with getting some more strength training in. With your marathon buildup, it can really help keep you away from injury. Great job with the race.
Congratulations!! That pace is great!!
CONGRATS!!!!
